Shante is a rare breed and I am honored to nominate her for this award. She is a small business advocate, consistent and a true servant leader. Shante takes time to share her education and knowledge with anyone, not holding back from fear or selfish intent. She has helped business owners receive more than $2M in Grants since 2020.  The world would be a better place if more people had a heart and work ethic like Ms. Roddy. In the time I’ve known her, I have learned so much and am a better person and business leader.
